In India, we established our presence through the acquisition of Premium Sports International in 2016, an organisation involved with the development of football at the grass-root level teaching children from the age groups of 3 to the Under-19 under the brand Youth Football International (YFI) and The Delhi Youth League.

Sporting Group International will be working closely with coaches to ensure that we provide sporting conditions whereby talented players are spotted, nurtured and fast-tracked into international sporting circuits.

About Youth Football International

Youth Football International (YFI), was founded in 2014 with the objective of enhancing the quality of football at the grassroots level though our coaching programmes at our academies.

Our academies are run on football fields that meet international standards. Our international coaches are UEFA or FA (UK) licensed. We currently have a presence in Delhi and Faridabad and we plan to expand our operations to other regions in the country.

About Delhi Youth League

The second arm, Delhi Youth League is the biggest and the longest duration youth football league in the region. We provide an environment in which children across various cultures, religions and economic backgrounds can play football through a fun and learning-based system under the motto: ‘The best teacher is the game itself’. Our league is set up so that at least 40% of teams come from under-privileged backgrounds and play for free, supported by the other teams which pay and play. Set up in January 2013, the first season had 28 teams in 4 age groups. Season 5 has over 70 teams in 7 age groups.

Youth Football India Foundation

Giving back to society through social initiatives involving football has been an integral part of the company since inception. As an organisation we firmly believe, economic condition of a good played should not limit access to the best playing fields or coaches. Giving back to society through the YFI academy has been an integral part of the company since its inception. Thus providing them an equal opportunity to train at the best facility in the city-The American Embassy School. The foundation also provides the players with outfit, shoes, shin-pads and transport money to the venue.

20% of our non-fee paying students are sponsored by the organisation in order to enable them to continue with their passion to play.

40% of teams playing in the Delhi Youth League play free of cost and are provide playing kits as are all league players. Sponsors to the league and academy include individuals, corporate houses and various embassies.
